My name is Alison Hurley Bourne and I am the founder and Creative Director of Bloom and Grow.

Originally from Westmount QC, I am a 20+ year resident of the Sunnylea neighbourhood of Etobicoke. I have had a varied career ranging from Motorsports to Cancer Care, but if there is one thing that has remained constant through my life, it is my love of gardening, flowers, plants and each of our beautiful, unique seasons.

I am a lifelong gardener and a student of Landscape Design at the University of Guelph. A fun career highlight was in winter 2022 when one one of our planter designs won a community Holiday Spirit Award. I am an active and proud Committee Member of Digging In, an International Organization of Professional Container Gardeners.
